One Killed in Thousand Palms Car Accident at Varner Road and Jack Ivey Drive Wednesday afternoon
Thousand Palms, California (November 27, 2019) – A person was killed Wednesday afternoon in a traffic accident at an intersection in Thousand Palms, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal crash happened at around 2:33 p.m. at the intersection of Varner Road and Chase School Road.
As per the CHP report, a gray Honda Civic and a white Ford pickup truck were involved in the crash. However, details of what led up to the crash are unknown at this time.
Fatal Two-Car Accident at Varner Road and Chase School Road in Thousand Palms
One person died as a result of the crash. The name of the victim has not been released pending notification of family.
The driver of the pickup truck stopped at the scene and cooperated with police.
The accident remains under investigation.
