Man Dies in Modesto Train Crash near 8th and I Streets
Modesto, California (November 27, 2019) – A pedestrian was fatally hit by a train early Wednesday morning in Modesto, according to the authorities.
The crash happened at around 4:15 a.m. near 8th and I streets.
Modesto police said a man was hit by a northbound Union Pacific Rail Road train on the tracks.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. His identity was not immediately released.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
