Bishop, CA: U-Haul Truck Crashes into Rear of Semi on Highway 395
1 Trapped in Highway 395 Big Rig Collision near Crocker Avenue in Bishop
Bishop, California (November 27, 2019) – At least one person sustained major injuries when a U-haul truck collided into the rear of a big rig Tuesday morning in Bishop, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The collision occurred at about 11:26 a.m. on southbound Highway 395, just north of Crocker Avenue.
Authorities said the U-haul truck crashed into the back of the big rig for unknown reasons.
One person was trapped in the U-haul truck and needed extrication.
At least one person sustained major injuries in the accident. Paramedics responded to the scene to transport the patient to the hospital.
CHP is investigating the collision.
