Boyle Heights, California (November 25, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed Sunday night in a traffic accident on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway in Boyle Heights, according to authorities.
The California Highway Patrol said the crash was reported at around 11:37 p.m. Sunday, November 24 on the eastbound side of 10 Freeway at Soto Street.
According to the CHP, a woman believed to be 40 years old was riding her motorcycle on the eastbound 10 Freeway when for an unknown reason, she collided with an orange Toyota Prius.

The motorcyclist was declared deceased at the scene. Her name has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
Lanes 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the eastbound 10 Freeway were shut down as the authorities investigated the crash. As of 3:06 a.m., the roadway was reopened.
The crash remains under investigation.
