Bakersfield, California (November 25, 2019) – A woman was killed in a suspected street-racing collision on Sunday afternoon in Bakersfield, according to police.
The crash took place on Old River Road near Ming Avenue on Sunday, November 24.
Police said a vehicle involved in a street racing with another car lost control and clipped a van. The van was then hit by another vehicle.

The woman who was driving the van was killed in the crash.
Two minors were taken to a hospital for treatment of their injuries.
At least one person was taken into custody.
Old River Road was closed between Ming Avenue and White Oak Drive as officials examined and cleared the scene.
The crash is under investigation.
