Man Killed in French Camp Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 5 near French Camp Road
French Camp, California (November 24, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by several vehicles on Interstate 5 in French Camp between late Saturday night and early Sunday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal pedestrian accident occurred in the southbound lanes of Interstate 5, just south of French Camp Road.
The CHP said the man was walking on Interstate 5 when he was first hit by a vehicle whose driver fled the scene. He was then struck by several other vehicles.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
It is still undetermined if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the accident.
The CHP is investigating the crash.
