Pennsylvania Woman Kerri Occhipinti Injured in Fairfield Car Crash on 680 Freeway near Gold Hill Road
Fairfield, California (November 15, 2019) – Kerri Occhipinti, 52, of Scranton, Pennsylvania, was injured in a fatal car accident that occurred in Fairfield, Solano County, on Wednesday evening, according to a local news source.
The accident happened at about 6:30 p.m. November 13, on 680 Freeway near Gold Hill Road.
CHP said a BMW SUV driven by Occhipinti had been stopped on the shoulder and was trying to cross the off-ramp when it was broadsided by a passing Honda CR-V driven by a Fairfield woman.
The impact caused the BMW to flip onto its roof and was struck shortly after by a Dodge Ram truck driven by Alfred Paniccia, 58, of Fairfield.

Occhipinti sustained minor injuries in the accident and was transported to North Bay Medical Center for treatment.
A Tennessee man riding in the BMW was killed in the accident.
The driver of the Honda was taken to Kaiser Permanente Vallejo Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.
Paniccia was unhurt.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
