Jerrol Dodd Killed in Car Crash on 680 Freeway near Gold Hill Road in Fairfield
Fairfield, California (November 14, 2019) – 26-year-old Jerrol Dodd was identified as the man who was killed in a car accident in Fairfield, Solano County, on Wednesday evening.
According to a local news source, the accident happened at about 6:30 p.m. November 13, on 680 Freeway near Gold Hill Road.
CHP said a BMW SUV driven by a Pennsylvania woman had been stopped on the shoulder and was trying to cross the off-ramp when it was struck by a passing Honda CR-V driven by the Fairfield woman.
A Dodge Ram truck was involved in the accident.
The impact of the collision caused the BMW to overturn.

Dodd, a resident of Tennessee, who was riding in the BMW, was killed in the accident.
The driver of the Honda was taken to Kaiser Permanente Vallejo Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.
The BMW driver sustained minor injuries in the accident and was transported to North Bay Medical Center for treatment.
The driver of the Dodge was unhurt.
No further information was provided.
