Pittsburg, California (November 8, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported in a traffic collision involving multiple vehicles in the area of Pittsburg on Wednesday morning, according to Authorities.

The California Highway Patrol said the multi-vehicle crash happened at around 8:13 a.m. November 7, on westbound Highway 4, just east of Loveridge Road.

The accident involved three vehicles of unspecified built. The manner in which the accident occurred was not disclosed.

The CHP said the victims who might have injured in the crash received first aid treatment from paramedics who responded to the scene shortly after the accident.

The current conditions of the injured victims remain unknown to this time.

Meanwhile, tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.

The accident resulted in the closure of lane 4 and 5 of the highway up to about 9:00 a.m.

The investigation is ongoing.
