Major Injuries Sustained in Hayward Crash on 880 Freeway near Whipple Road
Hayward, California (November 8, 2019) – Authorities are investigating a major traffic collision that happened on Thursday afternoon in the area of Hayward.
The collision happened at around 4:01 p.m. Thursday, November 7, on northbound 880 Freeway, just south of Whipple Road.
As per the CHP officials, two vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation. One of the vehicles was overturned as a result of the crash.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of the patients and their current condition was not immediately released.
A SigAlert was issued blocking lane 3 and 4 following the collision.
The roadway was opened as of 4:42 p.m.
