1 Killed, 1 Hurt in Sunol Head-on Accident on Pleasanton Sunol Road
Sunol, California (November 7, 2019) –One person was killed and another one injured following a head-on collision that happened on Thursday morning in Sunol.
The fatal accident, which happened at about 5:15 a.m. November 7, occurred along Pleasanton Sunol Road just south of Koopman Road near an off-ramp for southbound Interstate Highway 680.
The California Highway Patrol said a black Infiniti Q450 SUV and a Ford Matrix collided head-on for unknown reasons.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene. Another person sustained minor injuries in the crash. The victim was transported to Eden Medical Center for treatment.
The identities of both the deceased and the injured party have not yet been released to this time.
It was not mentioned whether or not there were other victims hurt in the crash.
The investigation is underway.
