At Least 1 Injured in Richmond Car Collision on Carlson Boulevard On-Ramp to 80 Freeway
Richmond, California (November 5, 2019) – At least one person suffered major injuries in a car crash that happened Monday evening in Richmond, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident took place at about 5:28 p.m. on Carlson Boulevard on-ramp to eastbound 80 Freeway.
As per the CHP report, a van and a 4-door sedan collided for unknown reasons. One of the vehicles overturned onto its roof.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed that at least one person sustained major injuries in the crash. The victim was transported to the hospital.
The on-ramp was blocked for an unknown period following the crash.
The accident is being investigated by the authorities.
