Major Injuries Sustained in 80 Freeway Collision near Pinole Valley Road Off-Ramp
Hercules, California (November 1, 2019) – Authorities are investigating a traffic collision that happened Friday morning in Hercules.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident happened at about 5:53 a.m. on eastbound 80 Freeway, just west of Pinole Valley Road off-ramp.
Two vehicles collided for unknown reasons.
At least one person sustained major injuries in the collision. Paramedics responded to the scene to help the victims.
Both vehicles were towed away from the collision scene.
CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
