1 Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on 605 Freeway in Whittier
1 Person Dies in Whittier Car Accident on 605 Freeway near Peck Road
Whittier, California (October 26, 2019) – A person was killed Saturday morning in a traffic accident involving several vehicles in Whittier, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly crash took place at about 5:00 a.m. on the northbound 605 Freeway, just south of Peck Road.
According to a report by the CHP, the crash involved five or six vehicles. Details of what led up to the accident are unknown at this time.
One person died in the accident. The name of the victim has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
It was not immediately clear if there were other injuries.
No other details were given about the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
