Man Hospitalized After Bonita Bicycle Accident on Briarwood Road
Bonita, California (October 26, 2019) – A 51-year-old male party was struck and seriously injured by a truck in the area of Bonita on Thursday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The bicycle crash happened at about 9:30 a.m. on October 24, along Briarwood Road.
As per the report, the male bicyclist was riding his bicycle west on Sweetwater Road when he was struck by a cement-mixer truck. The initial report indicated that the truck was making a turn at Briarwood Road at the time of the collision.

The victim suffered major injuries in the crash. He was transported to Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego for treatment.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
