Three Hospitalized after San Francisco Crash near Geneva and Cayuga Avenues

San Francisco, California (October 24, 2019) – Three people were hurt in an auto-pedestrian collision on Tuesday morning in the Outer Mission neighborhood, according to San Francisco police.

The wreck happened near Geneva and Cayuga avenues at about 7:30 a.m. October 22.

Police said an SUV and a sedan collided in the area and the impact caused one of them to strike two pedestrians in the San Francisco Municipal Railway bus stop.

Three people were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The San Francisco Police Department is investigating the accident.

Many pedestrians are hurt and several others killed in accidents in California every year. The causes of many of these pedestrian accidents include distracted driving, speeding, drunk driving, reckless driving, bad weather, wrong-way driving and failure to observe traffic laws. It is evident that negligence on the part of motorists is the leading cause of these accidents.
