Richard Debose ID’d as Man Killed in Hollywood Pedestrian Accident at Highland and Willoughby Avenues
Hollywood, California (October 18, 2019) – Richard Debose, 29, has been identified as the man who was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver early Friday morning in Hollywood.
The fatal pedestrian accident happened at around 3:00 a.m. Friday, October 18, near the intersection of Highland and Willoughby avenues.
Authorities said Debose was crossing westbound from the southeast corner of the intersection when he was hit by a white, late-model Mercedes C300 or similar vehicle, which was heading northbound on Highland.
Debose was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle involved did not stop to render aid Debose and fled the scene after the accident.
A reward of up to $50,000 is available for anyone who can provide information leading to the arrest and conviction of the hit-and-run driver.
