Bicyclist Critically Injured in Morro Bay Crash on Quintana Road
Morro Bay, California (October 18, 2019) – A man was hospitalized with major injuries after a hit-and-run collision on Wednesday night in Morro Bay, according to police.
The incident happened at about 7 p.m. October 16, on Quintana Road.
Police said a 55-year-old Morro Bay man was riding a bicycle northbound on Quintana Road when a northbound car struck him. The driver of the car fled the scene after the incident.
Bicyclist Critically Injured in Morro Bay Crash on Quintana Road
The rider was rushed to a hospital in critical condition.
Police said the hit-and-run driver was operating a vehicle suspected to be a dark-blue 2015 Chevy Colorado. The vehicle may have damage to its right front bumper.
The Morro Bay Police Department is investigating the crash.
