3 Severely Injured in Orinda Accident at San Pablo Dam Road and Old San Pablo Dam Road
Orinda, California (October 14, 2019) – Authorities are investigating a major traffic crash that left three persons severely injured on Monday afternoon in Orinda.
The collision happened at around 3:47 p.m. Monday, at San Pablo Dam Road and Old San Pablo Dam Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, four vehicles including a red pickup truck crashed for reasons still under investigation. One person pinned inside the truck as a result of the impact, was freed by responding firefighters.
Major Multi-Car Accident in Orinda
An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to attend to three persons who suffered severe injuries in the crash. The patients were taken to John Muir Health, Walnut Creek Medical Center for treatment. The names of victims and their current condition were not immediately released.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
The roadway was blocked by authorities following the crash. All lanes were opened as of 4:58 p.m.
No other information regarding this crash was provided.
