At Least 1 Seriously Injured in Stockton Car Accident at Highway 88 and Kettleman Lane
Stockton, California (October 13, 2019) – At least one person was seriously injured Saturday night in a traffic accident at an intersection in Stockton, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at around 9:19 p.m. in the area of Highway 88 and Kettleman Lane near Lockeford Springs.
As per the report, a pickup truck and another vehicle collided at the Stockton intersection for an undetermined reason. The force of the impact caused the pickup to roll over.
Reportedly, the pickup was hauling another vehicle on a trailer, and the trailer detached during the collision.
Emergency crews who responded to the scene found the black pickup overturned on the roadway while the trailer ended up upside-down in a ditch.
The parties involved in the crash were treated at the scene by paramedics. At least one person suffered major injuries in the crash. However, the identities of the victims and their conditions were not immediately available.
The name of the other driver and the type of their vehicle remained undisclosed.
An investigation into the accident remains under investigation.
