Chino Hills, CA: Fatal Multi-Car Crash on 71 Freeway, October 12
1 Killed, 3 Injured in Chino Hills Car Accident on 71 Freeway near Grand Avenue
Chino Hills, California (October 13, 2019) – One person was killed and three others were injured in a traffic accident in Chino Hills early Saturday morning, according to a local news report.
The deadly multi-car crash happened at about 1:50 a.m. Saturday, October 12 on the 71 Freeway near Grand Avenue.
According to officials, three cars collided in the southbound lanes of the 71 Freeway for unknown reasons. As a result of the collision, one vehicle overturned and another went on fire.
Firefighters along with the medical personnel responded to the scene and declared a man deceased at the scene. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
Three other people were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
