Motorcycle Rider Killed in Ocotillo Wells Crash near Devil’s Slide off Highway 78
Ocotillo Wells, California (October 13, 2019) – A motorcycle rider was killed in a traffic collision on Saturday afternoon in the Ocotillo Wells State Vehicular Recreation Area, according to the CHP.
The crash took place near Devil’s Slide off Highway 78 at about 3:15 p.m. October 12.
CHP said a motorcycle and a Ford Explorer were involved in the crash. It’s unclear how the two collided.
The rider, identified as a man in his 40s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
No further details were released.
The CHP is investigating the crash.
