San Diego, CA: Pedestrian Struck, Injured by Vehicle on Interstate 8
Woman Injured in San Diego Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 8 at Fairmount Avenue
San Diego, California (October 12, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and injured by a vehicle Saturday morning in San Diego, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at around 10:25 a.m. on Interstate 8 at Fairmount near Kensington.
According to the CHP traffic incident long, a woman was running across westbound Interstate 8 when she was hit by a dark BMW SUV.
The identity of the woman and her condition were not immediately available.
The driver of the SUV stopped at the scene after the accident.
Three lanes were shut down following the crash.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
