Visalia, CA: Major Traffic Crash on Highway 198 near Road 156
1 Hospitalized after Highway 198 Car Collision near Road 156 in Visalia
Visalia, California (October 10, 2019) – One person was hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision that took place early Thursday morning in Visalia.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident transpired at about 2:12 a.m. on eastbound Highway 198, just west of Road 156.
Authorities said two vehicles of unknown make and model collided for unknown reasons.
One person who sustained major injuries was transported to Kaweah Delta Hospital for treatment.
The crash left about 70 feet of chain link fence and several poles damaged.
Towing services were needed to clear the collision scene.
The crash is being investigated by CHP.
