Man, Woman Injured in Modesto Pedestrian Accident at 11th and K Streets
Modesto, California (October 7, 2019) – Two people were hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle Monday afternoon in downtown Modesto, according to a local news report.
The accident happened at around 1:00 p.m. at the intersection of 11th and K Streets.
Police said a man and a woman, both around 70 years old, were crossing the street inside the crosswalk when for an unknown reason, they were hit by a vehicle that was traveling at approximately 30 mph at the intersection.
Paramedics responded to the scene and rendered aid to the victims. The patients were then transported to a hospital in stable condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
