53-Year-Old Michelle Scott ID’d as Rider Injured in Motorcycle Accident on Highland Valley Road near Highway 67 in Ramona
Ramona, California (October 5, 2019) – The motorcyclist who was seriously injured in a collision with a hit-and-run driver on Thursday morning in Ramona has been identified as Michelle Scott, 53, according to a local news source.
The accident happened at about 9 a.m. October 3, on Highland Valley Road near Highway 67.
Scott was riding a motorcycle on SR 67 when a driver in a black 2019 Ford Edge drifted onto the shoulder and struck her. The driver fled the scene after the incident.
Michelle Scott Hospitalized after Ramona Motorcycle Collision
CHP said Scott was transported to a hospital with major injuries.
The license plates from the Ford Edge were reportedly stolen and the authorities are conducting a search for the hit-and-run driver.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
