Man Killed in Merced County Pedestrian Accident on Highway 99
Merced County, California (October 3, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in Turlock on Tuesday night, a local news source reported.
The fatal crash happened at about 11:00 p.m. on October 1, on Highway 99 near Lander Avenue.
Authorities said a male party was hit by a vehicle of unspecified built while walking on the highway for unknown reasons.
The victim was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased has not yet been released to this time.
The authorities affirmed that the driver of the involved car stopped after the collision and cooperated with the investigation.
