Woman Seriously Injured in Sacramento Pedestrian Crash near 47th Avenue and 44th Street
Sacramento, California (October 2, 2019) – A female pedestrian was hospitalized with major injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Tuesday evening in Sacramento, according to the CHP.
The crash was reported at about 6:23 p.m. October 1, in the area of 47th Avenue and 44th Street.
CHP said a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle, which sent her flying into the No.2 lane.
Pedestrian Injured in Sacramento Car Crash
The pedestrian was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to a hospital by the paramedics.
No details were provided on the motorist who struck the victim but a white Lexus that may have been involved in the crash was at the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
