Jorge Jimenez, 33, Killed in North Hollywood Train Crash on West Vanowen Street
North Hollywood, California (October 2, 2019) – A 33-year-old man was struck and killed by a train on Monday afternoon in North Hollywood, according to the authorities.
The crash took place at about 1:15 p.m. September 31, in the 11000 block of West Vanowen Street.
Authorities said Jorge Jimenez, 33, of North Hollywood was hit by the Ventura County Line 109 Metrolink train heading to Moorpark.

Jimenez was pronounced deceased at the site of the collision.
The train stopped at the scene as the authorities conducted an investigation.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
