Person Injured in Mountain View Train Crash at Mountain View Caltrain Station

Mountain View, California (October 2, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and injured by a Caltrain on Tuesday evening in Mountain View, according to the authorities.
The incident happened at about 7:47 p.m. October 1, at the Mountain View Caltrain Station.
Authorities said the pedestrian was hit by a southbound train.

The victim survived the accident and was attended to by paramedics. The victim was then taken to a hospital for treatment. The victim’s condition was not immediately released.
About 77 passengers that were on the train at the time of the accident were not hurt.
Trains in the area were stopped for a while as officials worked to clear the scene.
The authorities are conducting an investigation into the incident.
