51-Year-Old Ivanhoe Man Killed in Visalia Car Accident at Avenue 264 and Road 156

Visalia, California (September 30, 2019) – A man from Ivanhoe was killed in a two-car accident which occurred in Visalia on Thursday evening, according to the CHP.
The accident happened at about 5:30 p.m. on September 26, in the area of Avenue 264 and Road 156.
As per the CHP, a 51-year-old Ivanhoe man was driving his 1996 Nissan southbound on Road 156 when he collided with a westbound 2010 Ford operated by a 21-year-old driver from Tipton.
The impact of the collision sent both vehicles down the roadway where the Ford crashed into a stop sign and overturned.

The driver of the Nissan was killed in the collision. His name has not yet been released.
The driver of the Ford was injured in the collision and was transported to Kaweah Delta Medical Center for treatment.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
