At Least 1 Injured in Monterey Motorcycle Accident on Highway 1 near Del Monte Boulevard Saturday
Monterey, California (September 29, 2019) – At least one person was injured Saturday afternoon in a traffic accident in Monterey, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened shortly after 2:57 p.m. Saturday, September 28 on Highway 1 near Del Monte Boulevard.
The CHP said an unidentified man was riding his black motorcycle on northbound Highway 1 when for as yet to be determined reasons, he collided with another motorcyclist.
Paramedics responded to the scene and provided medical aid to both riders. The medics determined that at least one party suffered minor injuries following the crash.
Details of how the crash occurred were not immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
