Anthony Garcia Killed in Madera County Truck Accident on Avenue 21
Anthony Garcia ID’d as Man Killed in Madera County Truck Crash on Avenue 21 near Road 26 Saturday
Madera County, California (September 29, 2019) – The 39-year-old man who was killed early Saturday morning in a traffic accident involving a big rig in Madera County has been identified as Anthony Garcia, according to the Madera County Sheriff’s Department.
The fatal crash happened at about 4:45 a.m. September 28, on Avenue 21, just west of Road 26.
The CHP said Garcia was driving a 1995 Chevy pick-up truck eastbound on Avenue 21 when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle drifted into the westbound lane and collided head-on with a semi-truck.
Anthony Garcia Killed in Madera County Crash
Garcia was pronounced deceased at the accident scene. The driver of the semi-truck was uninjured.
The two drivers were the sole occupants of their respective cars. Both vehicles sustained major damage.
Alcohol or drugs were not suspected factors in the crash.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
