Corona, California (September 28, 2019) – One person was killed in a collision involving a big rig early Saturday morning in Corona, CHP said.
The incident took place just after 5 a.m. on the Riverside (91) Freeway near South Promenade Avenue.
CHP said a sedan and a tractor-trailer were involved in the accident, which took place in the eastbound lanes of the freeway.
A trailer was detached from the big rig due to the impact of the crash.

At least one person died in the crash. The identity of the victim was not immediately released.
The crash is under investigation.
