At Least 1 Injured in Auburn Crash at Grass Valley Highway and Quartz Drive

Auburn, California (September 27, 2019) – At least one person was injured after a head-on collision Thursday afternoon in the area of Auburn, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened at around 2:10 p.m. Thursday, September 26, at Grass Valley Highway and Quartz Drive.
As per the CHP officials, two vehicles crashed head-on. One of the drivers reportedly ran a red light at the intersection prior to the crash.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to at least one person who complained of pain as a result of the crash. The name of the victim and their current condition was not immediately released.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
The roadway was cleared as of 3:11 p.m.
