Ronald Strangler ID’d as Man Killed in Sacramento Pedestrian Accident at Roseville Road and Connie Drive

Sacramento, California (September 26, 2019) – The pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle in Sacramento on Friday night has been identified as Ronald Strangler, 67, according to a local news source.
The fatal wreck happened at around 7:47 p.m. September 20, in the area of Roseville Road and Connie Drive
The Sacramento Police Department said Strangler was struck by a pickup truck traveling westbound on Roseville Road at the intersection for unknown reasons. Due to the impact, Strangler was thrown into the eastbound lane of Roseville Road and was hit by a second vehicle.

Strangler was found lying on the roadway by officials who arrived at the scene shortly after the wreck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the pickup truck remained on the scene and cooperated with the investigation. The second vehicle drove to a nearby light rail station, and the people inside ran away. No arrests have been made.
The investigation is ongoing.
