North Hollywood, CA: Major-Injury in Metro Bus Crash on 101 Freeway
Driver Critically Injured in North Hollywood Bus Accident on 101 Freeway at Vineland Avenue Tuesday night
North Hollywood, California (September 25, 2019) – A driver was hospitalized Tuesday night with major injuries sustained in a traffic collision in North Hollywood.
As per a local news report, the accident happened shortly after 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 24 in the northbound lanes of the 101 Freeway at Vineland Avenue.
A Metro bus collided with a car in the northbound lanes of the freeway for reasons still under investigation.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and extricated the driver from wreckage car. The victim was then transported to the hospital in critical condition.
The bus driver’s condition was not immediately disclosed. There were no passengers on the bus.
Authorities closed multiple lanes of the freeway for several hours while they investigated the crash and cleared the crash site.
