Motorcyclist Hospitalized after Crash on 80 Freeway in Richmond
Man Injured in Richmond Motorcycle Accident on 80 Freeway at Carlson Boulevard Off-Ramp Friday
Richmond, California (September 22, 2019) – A motorcyclist was injured Friday afternoon in a traffic accident in Richmond, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at around 2:20 p.m. Friday, September 20 in the eastbound lanes of the Interstate 80 Freeway at Carlson Boulevard exit.
As per the CHP report, a motorcycle and three other vehicles were involved in the wreck.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and found the fully dressed motorcyclist lying down on the roadway. The male rider was taken to John Muir Medical Center for treatment of unknown injuries.
The name and condition of the patient at this time were not released.
No other details were immediately given regarding the accident.
Authorities are still investigating the crash.
