Injuries Sustained in Newport Car Accident at MacArthur Boulevard and Jamboree Road
Newport, California (September 20, 2019) – Police are investigating a traffic accident that happened at an intersection in Newport Friday evening.
The crash happened just before 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of MacArthur Boulevard and Jamboree Road and involved three vehicles.
As per a local news report, a silver 4-door sedan, a blue 2-door car and a dark grey 4-door sedan were involved in the collision.
The accident occurred when the grey vehicle slammed into the passenger’s side of the blue vehicle. The force of the impact caused the blue car to veer into the driver’s side of the silver vehicle.
Paramedics responded to the scene to render aid to the involved parties. The extent of the injuries sustained in the crash was not immediately determined.
The grey vehicle sustained major front-end damage following the crash.
No other details were given about the accident.
