Possible Injuries in Madera County Car Accident on State Route 41 and Jewel Vista Drive

Madera County, California (September 17, 2019) – Possible injuries were reported in a traffic collision that happened in Madera County Tuesday afternoon, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The crash happened in the afternoon hours on September 17, along State Route 41 and Jewel Vista Drive.
According to the CHP report, a jeep collided with a fuel tanker on the highway for reasons still under investigation. The fuel tanker’s gas tank was punctured upon the impact and spilled 30 gallons of fuel on the road.
Possible Injuries After Madera County Car Crash
It was immediately unclear if anyone was injured in the crash.
Northbound and southbound traffic on State Route 41 was shut down following the crash. The northbound traffic was diverted to Road 208 while the southbound traffic was diverted onto Road 200.
The CHP is still investigating the cause of the accident.
