37-Year-Old Man Dies in Lucerne Valley Crash on Old Woman Springs Road
Lucerne Valley, California (September 13, 2019) – A man was hit and killed by a vehicle on Thursday night in Lucerne Valley, according to police.
The incident took place at about 8:17 p.m. September 12, on Old Woman Springs Road near Aliento Road.
Police said a 37-year-old man was hit by a southbound 1993 GMC Safari van while walking on Old Woman Springs Road.
Man Killed in Lucerne Valley Pedestrian Crash
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the GMC, a 48-year-old Hesperia resident, remained at the scene after the collision.
The crash caused a closure of Old Woman Springs Road for several hours as the scene was examined and cleared.
The CHP is investigating the crash.
