Daniel Boyer Dies after Emeryville Pedestrian Crash on 80 Freeway near Powell Street
Emeryville, California (September 11, 2019) – Daniel Boyer, 38, has been identified as the pedestrian killed last Friday in Emeryville, according to the authorities.
The deadly collision happened on Interstate Highway 80 near the Powell Street on-ramp a while after 4:00 a.m. Friday, September 6.
As per the CHP officials, Boyer was sitting on top of the median of 80 Freeway when he was struck by a vehicle.
Pedestrian Killed in Crash on 80 Freeway
Responding firefighters declared Boyer dead at the scene.
Officials said Boyer had no address.
Information concerning the involved motorist was not released.
An investigation is underway.
