Police Officer Injured In San Francisco Motorcycle Accident At 15th And Sanchez Streets
San Francisco, California (September 11, 2019) – A San Francisco police officer was hospitalized after being involved in a traffic crash in San Francisco on Wednesday afternoon, according to authorities.
The crash occurred at around 3:30 p.m. September 11, in the area of 15th and Sanchez streets near San Francisco’s Duboce Triangle neighbourhood.
As per the report, a car was traveling in the area when its driver made a sudden turning movement at the intersection and slammed into a San Francisco police Honda motorcycle.
The motorcycle officer was transported to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. However, the name and condition of the patient at this time were not disclosed.
The male driver of the car stopped at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement officials.
Officers are investigating the cause of the accident.
