Girl Killed in Ventura Car Crash on North Bank Drive on Bristol Road near Ermine Avenue

Ventura, California (September 11, 2019) – A 5-year-old girl died days after being involved in a traffic accident last week near Ventura, according to the authorities.
The crash was reported at about 8:45 a.m. Friday, September 6, on Bristol Road near Ermine Avenue.
As per the CHP officials, a 39-year-old Ventura woman was driving a Hyundai westbound on Bristol Road when, for unknown reasons, she crossed into the path of oncoming traffic and collided with an eastbound Toyota Camry.

A woman in the backseat of the Hyundai and her daughter were left with major injuries.
The girl, a 5-year-old of Oxnard, was transported to Ventura County Medical Center in Ventura and later airlifted to UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased on Monday, September 9.
The mother, a 35-year-old Oxnard resident, and the Hyundai driver, who suffered minor injuries, were both taken the Ventura hospital.
The driver of the Toyota, a 58-year-old man from Ventura, was transported to St. John’s Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
The authorities are still investigating the incident.
