Rider Injured in Santa Barbara Motorcycle Accident on Foothill Road
Santa Barbara, California (September 10, 2019) – A motorcyclist was hurt in a traffic collision in the area of Santa Barbara on Tuesday evening, according to a Santa Barbara County Fire Department report.
The motorcycle collision happened shortly after 6:30 p.m. September 10, near the intersection with La Vista Road.
As per the report, a person riding a motorcycle collided with a vehicle of unspecified type on the highway for unknown reasons.
The motorcyclist sustained minor injuries in the wreck. The victim was treated at the scene by firefighters and paramedics and then rushed by AMR ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for further treatment.
The identity and the current condition of the wounded party have not yet been released to this time.
The driver of the vehicle involved was not injured following the wreck.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the collision.
