1 Killed in Pedestrian Accident at Highway 20 and Seventh Avenue in Lucerne, Lake County
Lucerne, California (September 10, 2019) – A man suspected to have struck and killed a pedestrian in Lucerne on Tuesday morning.
According to a local news source, the fatal pedestrian accident happened at about 2 a.m. in the area of Highway 20 and Seventh Avenue.
62-year-old Thomas Andrew Magee was driving a car in the area when he struck a pedestrian and fled the scene.
Thomas Magee Arrested after Fatal Lake County Pedestrian Accident
The pedestrian was seriously injured in the collision and was transported to Sutter Lakeside Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.
Magee was later located and arrested.
No further information was provided.
