Man Killed in La Cresta Crash on Taneja Road near Calle Pino
La Cresta, California (September 10, 2019) – A man was hit and killed by a vehicle on Sunday morning in La Cresta, according to the CHP.
The crash happened on Taneja Road just west of Calle Pino on Sunday, September 8.
CHP said a man was lying in the roadway for unknown reasons when he was hit by a Toyota Tundra.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. His identity was not immediately released.
The involved driver stayed at the scene after the accident.
An investigation into the incident is being conducted by the CHP.
Many pedestrians are hurt and several others killed in accidents in California every year. The causes of many of these pedestrian accidents include distracted driving, speeding, drunk driving, reckless driving, bad weather, wrong-way driving and failure to observe traffic laws. It is evident that negligence on the part of motorists is the leading cause of these accidents.
