Man Killed in Bakersfield Bicycle Crash on Kentucky Street
Bakersfield, California (September 9, 2019) – A bicyclist was killed in a traffic collision on Saturday night in Bakersfield, according to the police.
The incident took place in the 1000 block of Kentucky Street on Saturday, September 7.
Police said an adult male was hit by a vehicle and while lying down in the roadway, he was struck by a second vehicle.

The rider was pronounced deceased at the scene. His identity was not immediately released.
The first driver who hit the victim fled the scene while the second stopped and stayed at the scene.
The authorities are conducting an investigation into the incident.
