Rider Critically Hurt in Fountain Valley Motorcycle Crash on Brookhurst Street near La Alameda Avenue
Fountain Valley, California (September 7, 2019) – A motorcycle rider was hospitalized with major injuries after being involved in a crash with an OCTA bus on Friday morning in Fountain Valley.
According to the police, the wreck happened shortly after 11 a.m. September 3, on Brookhurst Street near La Alameda Avenue.
Police said a 2016 Yamaha Bolt motorcycle was traveling southbound on Brookhurst Street when it crashed into the bus, which was stopped at a bus stop.
Rider Injured in Fountain Valley Motorcycle Crash
The rider sustained critical injuries and was taken to UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange.
No other injuries were reported.
Police said alcohol and drugs were unlikely factors in the crash.
The incident is under investigation.
