1 Killed, 2 Hurt in Escondido Car Accident on Del Lago Boulevard
Escondido, California (September 2, 2019) – One person was killed, and two others were hurt in a traffic collision involving two cars in Escondido on Monday afternoon.
The fatal collision happened at about 3:30 p.m. September 2, on Del Lago Boulevard, an access road above Interstate 15.
As per Escondido police report, a car exited the freeway at a high rate of speed and entered the intersection, striking a car traveling westbound on the highway.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene following the wreck. Two other victims sustained unspecified injuries in the crash. The identities of both the deceased and the injured parties have not yet been released to this time.
